BM’s Tread Lightly caravan

Kia ora everyone and happy māroi language week.

On the 13th of september right after buddy reading Andrews class went inside the tread lightly caravan well we didn’t really go in the caravan but there were two activities in there. So first Sarah ( the instructor ) told us all of the activities around the hall the first one I went to was in the caravan. We had to zoom in the worms, bumble bees & normal bees. There was a machine and we had to slide it slowly. There were 2 buttons the first one was to zoom in and the other one was to focus. Then we had to rotate every 10 minutes the second one was about drainage and if we put soap or rubbish because it will get in the drainage and it will go into the sea and the sea will get polluted then we can’t swim in it. The next activity was how we should recycle. We saw different bins and there was a bucket of rubbish and we had to find out which bin it goes in. The next activity was energy we had to cycle, not on a bike but on a machine we had to exercise and see how much energy a light & a hair dryer needs the hair dryer needed more energy than the light. The next activity was back in the caravan but it was a different activity the activity was answering the questions on the TV and we saw how many worlds we needed. My group needed 2.6 worlds and that was a lot. then we had to go back to the hall in the hall we had to pick a pledge and follow it here have a look at my pictures.

Life Ed Blog post

Kia ora bloggers

On Monday 4th and on Wednesday the 6th of september Andrews class went to the life Ed caravan the caravan was there for the whole week ( first week of september at our school hay park). I think we were the second class to go inside the caravan. Then inside the caravan we met the instructor and her name was Nat. She was very nice. In the caravan we all sat down into two lines. Once we were all seated, we changed the color of the roof and we changed it to all the colors then, we did an activity. The game was everyone had to be in a group on five not leaving anyone out then we weren’t allowed to let go hands, Then we had to put the hula hoop on one person and we had to make it go all around the circle. Then when we were done Nat was talking to us about puberty ( a bit ), then we saw HAROLD THE GIRAFFE harold said hhi and he also gave us stickers. the harold went so Nat teaches us about our up & down stairs brian. Our up stairs brian is about logical thinking & our downstairs brain is about our emotions. Then we also had a piece of laminated paper saying random stuff my one said ” prefers to talk ”  There were rows on the whiteboard the first row was a leader in me and the second row was bossy boot I put my paper on the bossy boot side. Then Nat gave my teacher our notebooks and our stickers from harold. Here is some pictures of us.
