SLJ The Big Deep – Step It Up

Hello everyone,
how are you all doing today?

Today I did the Summer Learning journey.
This task was a step-it-up task,

For this task you would have to make a board game.
it’s a kind of snakes and ladders but there are no snakes and ladders

First you would have to make a google drawing and name it then you
would have to start making!

I found this activity pretty interesting because I haven’t made a board game without a template before so this was nice, you know what they say you learn something new everyday!

SLJ The Big Deep – Kick Start

Hello everyone.
How are you guys doing.
Today I did the summer learning Journey.

Today’s task was to make a really ugly fish,
i know this might sound weird but we really had to make a ugly Sea animal.

First you’ll have to make Google drawing, And then you’ll have to name it,
And now you will start making it ugly fish I hope my fish is ugly Enough.

I find this activity is nice and fun and really interesting because I’ve narrated this before.

SLJ Waka: Step It Up

Hello everyone,
today I did summer learning Journey
the task that we had to do today was that we Had to do
Was that we had to Make a canoe Out off paper or popsicle sticks,
We had to make a video Of us making the canoe.

First you had to Get all the supplies By the way the supplies were Paper/Popsicle
sticks Glue/Stapler I’m scissors and coloring pencils are optional.

Unfortunately the video I made was too long for me to upload on my blog so I did it on google slides
and on the slideshow i did it has pictures of me making my canoe step by step.

By the way the videos 5 minutes long.

I found this activity pretty Hard Because I had to memorize all of the steps From the video
And then make the canoe.

Te Ruapekapeka – He tīmatanga Step it up

Todays Step it up task was to research some facts about pekapeka’s so then I decided to research about pekapeka’s and then the next thing was to create a poster based on that and you’ll have to create it based on your research that you have done.

So yeah I hope you guys have had fun doing this step it up actvity and so yeah have a great time during the rest of your holidays .

Zentangle Art Kick Start

Kia Ora Bloggers,

Today’s Kickstart Activity was to do Zentangle art pieces. we were told to pick one art piece from three ideas that were posted. And those three options were scallop, Breach and a Ammon.

I decided to do the Breach since it looked interesting and a nice zentangle art piece. I can’t really explain the steps of how to draw breach because there is a quite a few steps but yeah I just kinda just watched the video and it gave me an idea on how it will be drawn.

The only tricky thing is probably getting the shades right and also probably making it the right size and getting all the smalll curves right. I hope you guys have had fun doing this kick start actvity today.

Fold & Frame – Kick Start

Hello Everyone,
I hope you guys are having a great time doing the SLJ this summer.
Todays Kickstart activity is to create three origiami sea creatures of your choice so I decided to find tutorials on youtube of the sea creatures I wanted which were a red crab, jelly fish and a blue whale.

I found this kickstart actvity really fun and creative. I haven’t done origami’s in ages so this was my time to start back again to doing origami art pieces. My favorite origami sea creature was the crab because I thought it was really cute.

My one and only tip for you guys is to never give up because at one stage it would get hard when you are creating your piece. But anyways I hope you guys have a great day

SLJ Ocean Science – Why is the Ocean Blue? Kick Start

Selam (Hello) everyone,
how are you are doing,
today I did the summer learning Journey,
today’s task was an experiment so it was quite different to all of the Other activities.

The Activity was to Get a glass fill it up with water
And add One or two Drops of milk Into the glass,

Now you mix it With a spoon, Then you Go into a Dark Space Or turn the lights off And get your torch

And Turn the torch on And put the torch on top of the glass Letting The Light shine on top of the glass.

And Then You will have A nice blue Tinted Glass.

SLJ Totally Awesome Sea Turtles – Kick Start

Selam everyone,
how are all of you guys doing?
Today I did yesterday’s Summer Learning Journey Kick-Start by metjanetlee,
Yesterday Task was to make a poster on google drawing about the totally awesome sea turtle.

First you have to make a google drawing then you would have to name it I named mine SLJ Totally Awesome Sea Turtles,
Now you have to add your title to your google drawing, and then you have to add a picture of a turtle then write at least
5 facts to your google drawing.

I found this task very fun enjoyable, easy & fun,

SLJ Sea Soda Chef Step It Up

Hello everyone today I did the Summer Learning Journey,
Today’s task was to make a Ice Cream soda,
First You have to add Ice cream then you add your soda,
( you guys should try it it is really REALLY GOOD)
